Cusseta Road Church of Christ provides monetary assistance to Raintree Village, located in Dasher GA, where Godly men and women have committed themselves to establishing a Christian community where abuse, abandonment and neglect of children is replaced by healing, nurturing and love.
Raintree’s mission is of vital importance to our community and society; in Georgia alone, 30 children enter foster care every day. That’s over 10,000 children a year! Due to many reasons, one out of five of these children can’t be placed with foster families and it’s up to organizations like Raintree Village to care for them. Natural and man-made disasters provide our congregation opportunities to “do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith (Gal 6:10). We have chosen to do so through our able partners Healing Hands International, Inc and Church of Christ Disaster Relief, Inc. Both are based in

Nashville, Tennessee and are affiliated with the Church of Christ. These organizations are well staffed, experienced, and equipped and have earned a reputation for high efficiency thereby providing critical disaster aid as timely as possible. Over the past decade, our congregation has proudly responded with significant targeted donations. Here are a few examples: Japan (Tsunami 2010), Panama City, FL (Hurricane Michael 2018), California (Wildfires 2019), Caribbean island of St Vincent (Volcano eruption 2021). Finally, on a case-by-case basis, the Cusseta Road congregation gives to the American Red Cross in response to local emergencies such as apartment fires in or near the communities we serve.
Three times each year our members roll up their sleeves and literally give life to ailing strangers through our partnership with the American Red Cross. Click Here Learn more about our Next Blood Drive

CRCOC has a food bank with basic items to assist needy families. Additionally in 2021, we partnered with Feeding the Valley to assist with feeding those in need during the pandemic.  We will continue to do what we can to feed those who have fallen on hard times and need a helping hand.
